2 Vision defined the act or power of anticipating that which will or may come to be: prophetic vision; the vision of an entrepreneur. an experience in which a personage, thing, or event appears vividly or credibly to the mind, although not actually present, often under the influence of a divine or other agency: a heavenly messenger appearing in a vision. something seen or otherwise perceived during such an experience: The vision revealed its message. a vivid, imaginative conception or anticipation: visions of wealth and glory.

3 Vision in scripture Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he. Habakkuk 2:2 And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Daniel 1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

Military. an operational task, usually assigned by a higher headquarters a group of persons sent by a church to carry on religious work, esp. evangelization in foreign lands, and often to establish schools, hospitals, etc. an assigned or self-imposed duty or task; calling; vocation. a sending or being sent for some duty or purpose.

11 Mission – Interesting Definition a permanent diplomatic establishment abroad; embassy; legation. a group or committee of persons sent to a foreign country to conduct negotiations, establish relations, provide scientific and technical assistance, or the like

13 Stating your Mission SMART – Simple, Measurable, Assesesable, Realistic (Faith Bound) Time Bound God's Quality Management system – 'and it was good' Missions can change and evolve. But the goal, the vision remains.

15 Interactive Take some time and write your vision as revealed to you by God. In your bible!! State your mission for 2010 – tasks that you will do this year towards your vision. Take advantage of the prophesy over 2010! Find accountability for your Mission statement for 2010
