2  Section 2 / Paragraph 1: House serves 2 year terms Elected directly by the people  Section 2 / Paragraph 2: Representatives must be 25 years old A citizen for 7 years Must reside in the state they represent  Section 2 / Paragraph 3: Representation is based on population Every state is guaranteed 1 seat

3  Section 2 / Paragraph 4: Governors fill vacancies  Section 2 / Paragraph 5: The House picks their Speaker The House has the power of impeachment

4  Section 3 / Paragraph 3: Senators must be 30 years old A citizen for 9 years Must reside in the state they represent  Section 3 / Paragraph 5 : A president pro tempore presides when the VP is absent  Section 3 / Paragraph 6: Senate has the power to try impeachments 2/3 vote needed to convict

5  Section 5: Congress makes it’s own rules  Section 6: Members of Congress can’t be arrested for misdemeanors while Congress is in session  Section 7 / Paragraph 1: All revenue bills must originate in the House  Section 7 / Paragraph 2: Congress can override president's veto with 2/3 vote in both houses
