What is a case ? A case can be an individual (one person or thing); such as a school or a factory (company)). it can be a group; such as a family, or a class, or an office.
What is a case study? A case study is one which investigate (discover: find out what happened) to answer specific (refer to the problem) research questions and which seeks (find out) a range( a number of different things) of different kinds of evidence (is everything you see, experience, read or are told that causes you to believe that something is true or has really happened).
What is a case study? The use of many sources of evidence, each with its strengths and weaknesses, is a key of case study research. In general, case studies are preferred (like) strategy (planning) when “ how ” or “ why ” questions are posed and more focus on the real-life situation.
Role play The aim is case study analysis is usually to pretend that you are a consultant ( is a person who gives expert advice to a person or a organization on a particular (special) subject) (or manager) with a special business problem that you need to solve.
Case study analysis Case study analysis is a response (reply) by you (as the manager or consultant) to the situation in a company and your recommendations (suggestions) to overcoming( a problem or a feeling, you successfully deal with it and control it) the problems.
The skills of case study analysis They provide organizational problems that you probably have not experienced but may need to solve when you begin working in a real company.
The skills of case study analysis They provide a situation in which you can identify (someone or something, you name them or say who or what they are ) and solve problems by applying (something or apply your mind to something, you concentrate hard on doing it or on thinking about it) the knowledge gained during the course.
The skills of case study analysis They are a good focus for discussing (if people discuss something, they talk about it, often in order to reach a decision) ideas in class. You have to present your solutions to the case in class and argue (discuss) for them.
The skills of case study analysis Discussion about real cases pretend what happens in the business environment, it is very suitable for intending (be going to) managers and future CEOs.
The skills of case study analysis Most corporate (work together) decisions are made by groups and therefore most case study analyses are done as group-work.
Creating a case study How to sale their ice cream? How do the ice cream company make their vision (the future situation what the company hope)? How do the ice cream company spend the winter time?
Creating a case study Why do they sale ice cream? Why do the consumers like their ice cream? Why do the ice cream can have a brand until now ?
