11 In existing laboratory space, we have furnished a modern laboratory (20 ft*12 ft) for setting up a GEM laboratory under clean condition atmosphere. With the financial assistance from DST, New Delhi under FAIR project, construction (mostly civil) is underway and in one year period, BHU will have a new research laboratory (30 ft * 20 ft area) for CBM experiment. 11/12/2015P.Garg CBM Collaboration Meeting

12 Electronics procurement NIM Crate (Ortec made) Spectroscopic Amplifier (Ortec made 572A) High Voltage Power Supply (CAEN N471A) Charge-sensitive Pre-amplifier (Ortec made 142 series) 8 K multichannel Analyzer with MAESTRO 32 software (Ortec made) 55 Fe radioactive sealed source (10 mCi) Lecroy 400 MHz oscilloscope Laminar Flow workstation (for Clean atmosphere) Turbomolecular Pump (250 l/sec) with a dry baking pump Thick GEM of small sizes 11/12/2015P.Garg CBM Collaboration Meeting

13 Procurement of Vacuum Chamber and Gas purifying system We are in the process to procure a vacuum chamber where a single GEM/THGEM or a cascade of GEM/THGEM can be placed and tested. Also a gas purifying system is going to be procured for GEM test. 11/12/2015P.Garg CBM Collaboration Meeting
