All Files from Fran’s Wiki Fran's Files from her Wiki Fran's Files from her Wiki Check out Landform and Explorers Menu.

Time to Plan Your Menu You will now plan a menu. You will have 5 minutes to choose Social Studies or Science Standards for your menu. You will have 10 minutes to choose 5 technology projects the students can work on in class. You will add one Multiple Intelligence project to your menu. (Use the MI file from my wiki)

Share Ideas Form groups. Kagan Methods from wiki. Share your ideas within your group. You have 5 minutes to share.

How Do We Manage the Time? There are several ways to manage the menu completion. The students can work during the Writing Block, or their Social Studies/Science times. Set the timer on the Promethean board for 30-45 minutes. The students will not want the time to end!

How Do I Assess the Students? Create a spreadsheet with names and tasks. Post in the classroom. When students create projects, add their points to the spreadsheet. Students keep their work in a folder and saved on the common drive.

Center Time Work in cooperative groups during center time. Set up 4 stations in the room. Examples: 4 students at desktops or laptops visiting websites, 4 students working with laptops using software programs, 2 students working on the Promethean board, 2 students working with Game Boy, Leap Frog or Games, 4 students with teacher. Set the timer for 15 minutes and rotate to the next center.

Center Time All centers don’t have to be technology related. You can add centers from the Multiple Intelligences: Math, Nature, Art, Music, Picture, etc….
