I am a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University where I obtained a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. 5. Elizabeth Symons Empowering Students of Color During Literacy Session I Room 104 I am a 3rd grade teacher in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools. With experience teaching in public schools in both Durham and Chapel Hill, I've started to focus the core of my teaching and learning around equity.
