This month is an exciting time for us all. The Jewish New Year, called Rosh Hashanah, falls on September 13-15 this year. Yom Kippur ( or Day of Atonement ) is September 22-23 and is considered one of the most holy Jewish holidays. Even though we are no longer under the Law of Moses, God still operates on the Jewish calendar.~Doug Addison

RELEASE – shĕmittah – release from debt, remission, pardon, absolution (the shemittah of the Lord) Deuteronomy 15:9 (NKJV) “Beware lest there be a wicked thought in your heart, saying, ‘The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand,’ and your eye be evil against your poor brother and you give him nothing, and he cry out to the LORD against you, and it become sin among you.

Unforgiveness Bitterness Anger Hatred Pride Hurts Insecurities Prayer releasing to the Lord:

Historically, Jewish people believe that God examines our lives during the time between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur to see if we are ready for spiritual advancement or promotion to a new level of maturity. Whether you are aware of it or not, this is a time when you are able to hear God more clearly and gain direction. ~ Doug Addison

Get ready to be stretched as God is doing things that are outside of our comfort zone. We are being challenged right now to move into new levels of understanding. A new wave of revelation is being released that will help us progress into more effectiveness. ~ Doug Addison

Leviticus 25:1-4 (NKJV) 1 And the LORD spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying, 2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you come into the land which I give you, then the land shall keep a Sabbath to the LORD. 3 ‘Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard, and gather its fruit; 4 ‘but in the seventh year there shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land, a Sabbath to the LORD

Leviticus 25:8-10 8 ‘And you shall count seven Sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. 9 ‘Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land.

Leviticus 25:8-10 10 ‘And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family. Leviticus 25:11a (NKJV) ‘That fiftieth year shall be a Jubilee to you;

Jubilee – yowbel - the long blast of a horn, the victory cry 7 year cycles (shemittah) 7 X 7 = 49 years 50 th year is a super shemittah or a (Jubilee)

7 days = Sabbath 7 years = Shemittah 7 (7 year cycles) = Jubilee (This year it is the 70 th Jubilee) Jubilee – always on the Day of Atonement, or Yom Kippur, which means both – Victory and Judgement

Joshua 6:1-5 (JUB) 1 Now Jericho was tightly shut up because of the sons of Israel; no one went out, and no one came in. 2 But the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given Jericho and its king into thy hand, with its mighty men of valour. 3 Therefore, ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, going round about the city once; and thou shalt do this six days.

Joshua 6:1-5 4 And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven shofar of jubilee; and the seventh day ye shall go around the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the shofar.

Joshua 6:1-5 5 And when they make a long sound of jubilee with the horn so that ye hear the voice of the shofar, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat; then the people shall ascend up each man straight before him. Shouting on the 7 th Trumpet

Of God’s rest, His victory, revelation, God’s release Prophesies about Collapse, fall, judgement, shaking Is it going to get bad or good, is it going to get darker or brighter, is it going to have miracles or judgement?

The answer is YES!!! On this first Jubilee it was good for Israel but it was bad for Jericho Tribulations and Glorious Revival

A Jubilee is every 50 years on the Jewish Calendar Rabbinic prophesy according to Israel Today, Rabbi Judah Ben Samuel was a top Talmudic scholar in Germany. Just before he died in the year 1217 he prophesied that the Ottoman Turks would rule over the holy city of Jerusalem and Israel for eight jubilees.

300 years later the Turks captured Israel and Jerusalem in the year 1517 The prophesy said 8 Jubilees they would rule over it Approximately 400 years

Yom Kippur as Day of Atonement, is the holiest day of the year for the Jewish people.

Yom Kippur/ Atonement, and start Year of Jubilee marked by a single long blast of the shofar…” (marked the conclusion of the Revelation to Moses at Sinai) Ex. 19:13. Ram's Horn - 1 long blast Lev. 25:8-11. Year of Jubilee - Proclaim Liberty/ Redemption. The Jubilee year looks to the restoration of Israel by the Messiah, and to the resulting messianic Kingdom of peace The Great Day of the Lord

Something of greater significance will happen in Israel and Jerusalem but God’s safety will ultimately prevail The revelation of Jesus will increase to a brand new level globally among Moslems

A new and greater animosity toward believers will increase globally which is Satan’s attempt to stop a pending global revival but it will back fire on Him as the remnant rises up in greater purity and passion

A defined mark of distinction in the church in the United States between those that the hold to The Word of God as the final authority and those that do not

Exodus of many from mainline traditional churches as a genuine hunger for Holy Spirit increases A marked revival among the Hispanic people in America A brand new favor will be released to those who pray and stand with Israel

First of all, we are to obey the admonition from scripture to not give in to fear. The enemy wants to stir up panic and distress, but we have to stand firm, trusting God’s faithfulness.

As we move into the September/ October months of the Jewish New Year and the appearance of the fourth blood moon, what do I know that I have heard? Historic changes will take place in the coming days that will be a prophetic catalyst for a great awakening. God is setting the stage for revival and harvest.

I also have a strong admonition that we are in a time of hearts being tested — whether we will rely on our own strength and capabilities, rather than God's.

In truth, no matter what comes, we are called to be overcomers. There have been many dire prophecies, but they all are conditional upon a lack of repentant hearts. At the moment, there are a number of prayer projects and fasts being called by various ministries …

God will be the same great God in the coming days as He is right now at this very moment. He is not about to forsake His children, no matter what transpires. He is vitally interested in our personhood, families, and futures. God is setting the stage to make some serious history, and I, for one, am not afraid of the future because He is my future — eternally
