Lesson 8 for the 22 nd of May, 2010

How did atmosphere appear in our world? In the beginning, the earth was formless, but God planned and sorted the elements out, so man could live on it. The second day of Creation, God created an atmosphere so we could breathe.

Is there a connection between air and living beings? They need the oxygen in the air to maintain life. Animals They produce the oxygen in the air. Seaweeds produce the 90% of that oxygen. Vegetation Like animals, Man needs air. Nevertheless, God breathed the breath of life especially in Man. Man

God keeps giving us the breath of life every day. “He himself gives all men life and breath and everything else” “When you hide your face, they are terrified; when you take away their breath, they die and return to the dust” Psalms, 104: 29 When He removes it, the existence stops. Acts, 17: 25

The environment around us determines the quality of the air we breathe. For a good renewal of oxygen, there must be running water, plants and trees in the environment. When God created man, He put him at a garden because it was the ideal place to live.

 It purifies the blood.  It relaxes the nerves.  It stimulates the appetite.  It improves digestion.  It produces a refreshing and healthy sleep.  It helps with thinking better.  It revitalizes organs, muscles and joints. An average person breathes 16 times per minute, absorbing about ½ litres of air. If we breathe a less polluted air, we’ll enjoy more advantages.

Cigar smoke, carbon dioxide (cars and factories), etc. pollute the air we breathe. That means a worse quality of the oxygen we breathe in our cities, and that leads to health problems.

 Headaches.  Nausea.  Vomiting.  Respiratory and eye illnesses.  Depression.  Irritability.  Lethargy.  Insomnia.  General discomfort.

Inhale clear air deeply several times after waking up. Exercise outdoors. If you work indoors, go outdoors and breathe some clean air. Sleep with your window opened (only a little opened is enough) Inhale deeply on a regular basis.

“Praise the Lord from the heavens; praise him in the heights above. Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts” Psalm 148: 1-2 “In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents” Joy, happiness and praise to God are breathed in heaven. Luke, 15: 10

Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God: It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name. For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. Psalm 100
