Latest amendment in 1979. n Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (1995) n The WIPO Diplomatic Conference (1996): WIPO Copyright Treaty and WIPO Performances and Phonograms Treaty. Adopted by over 100 countries. Currently being implemented in national law/the EU.

5 Recent amendments in relevant Norwegian laws n Norwegian law on copyright: A recent amendment states that computer programs developed by an employee as a part of his/her work is the property of the employer n Law on Patents: Scientific personnel have the ownership of patented inventions made during their work and are therefore excluded from the regulations of the law on patents
