4 Scheduling Process Complete Course Selection Form Return with Parent Signature Make course selections based on –8 th grade teacher recommendation English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, World Language Based on department criteria & prerequisite courses –Graduation requirements –Interests or aptitudes in subject areas –Prepare for career –Meet college entrance requirements –Meet NCAA initial eligibility

5 Students must... Be scheduled for a minimum of 32.5 credits each year. –There are 40 available periods each week. –Each class meeting per week is 1 credit. Successfully pass a minimum of 120 credits. Pass the HS Proficiency Assessment (HSPA). To graduate from MHS!
