2 Aim of The Project Promotion of energy-saving ways of lighting public and private areas Social education Art promotion Promotion of Philips brand and lighting equipment produced by Philips Promotion of photographing illuminations Presentation of different ways of using the light for : rehabilitation, entertainment and relaxation Creation of Jelenia Góra and Karkonosze image as the place where innovative systems of light are used and cultural events take place. Creation of the new tourist product, especially attractive in winter time

4 Execution Culture and Entertainment -Concerts (classical music, electronic music and popular music) -Laser Shows, photo competitions and exhibitions Illumination, happenings Master of Light and Light and Fire Theatres Science, Technology, Ecology -Presentation of the cutting-edge, ecological ways of lighting the public areas : streets, architecture, parks and other details. -Promotion of LED technology. Workshops and seminars for architects and electricians, -Presentation of light treatment methods – light therapy (demonstrations and seminars) Business - Presentation of trade offers for energy-saving systems of lighting the cities and public areas. Offers for local authorities representatives, architects, investors (hotel trade), individual clients - Workshop Light in The City for architects, electricians and traders

5 Execution Contest for the best Christmas illumination in the region, Contest for students for the best project and creation of Christmas illumination, Light and Fire Theatre, Traditional Polish Christmas Eve Meal Gala, Candle Night – on the day of Winter Solstice, Concerts in theatres and other monuments with light in the leading role, Actions that support sale of energy-saving lamps and Green Line Philips products in Jelenia Góra Valley.
