2 Key Message Most rivers have crested but it will take another day or two for rivers to recede back into their banks. 5 points were still in the major flood category as of 2pm Thursday, May 1 st. 7 points were in the moderate flood category. 38 points were in the minor flood category.

3 Major River Flooding Major Flooding is still occurring now (2pm Thu May 1) at the pts colored in purple on this map: – Brandywine Creek at Wilmington, DE – Millstone River at Blackwells Mills, Millstone & Griggstown, NJ – Raritan River at Bound Brook, NJ The rivers have now crested at all of these points.

4 River Forecasts MARFC river forecasts were updated this morning. MARFC hydrologists continue to closely monitor the rivers and will issue updates as needed. Monitor http://water.weather.gov for the latest information.http://water.weather.gov

5 MARFC Status MARFC began 24 hour operations 6:30am Tuesday, April 29. We will remain open until the flood threat has ended. MARFC continues to coordinate with our NWS Weather Forecast Offices and partners, such as the USACE & USGS.
