4. God’s Final Spokesman “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son,” Heb.1:1-2  Adam and Eve - directly  Joseph – dreams  Balaam – donkey  Gideon – Angel  David - Prophet

5. God’s Final Spokesman Christ was speaking the will of the Father  John 12:49 “what I should speak”  John 12:48 “He that rejecteth me” To reject the words of Christ is… To reject the will of God !

6. Prince of Peace “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 “He is our peace” Eph. 2:14 “peace of God, which passeth all understanding” Phil.4:7

7. Our Mediator  A middleman – a go-between  A type of peacemaker “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.” I Timothy 2:5 Jesus is qualified because he has experienced both sides !

8. Our Savior “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which is lost.” Luke 19:10 “for he shall save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21 “For the Son of Man is not come to destroy men's lives but to save them.” Luke 9:56

9. Our Savior The Only Savior John 14:6 “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” Acts 4:12 “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

Our Judge “the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ.” Romans 2:16 Romans 14:10b “for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.” 2 Cor. 5:10 “appear before the judgment seat of Christ” “At the judgment, he will no longer be our savior -- -- he will be our judge”
