BIOMES A biome is an area over a large area with the same climate, plants, and animals. There are six major biomes that we will learn: 1. Desert 2. Tundra 3. Rainforest 4. Coniferous Forest 5. Deciduous Forest 6. Grassland

This biome has a lot of trees. The leaves change color in the autumn and then fall off for the winter. What biome am I? A deciduous forest.

This biome has a lot of trees. These trees grow needles instead of leaves. They stay green all year long. What biome as I? A Coniferous Forest.

This biome is usually flat. It has grasses that can grow as tall as 6 feet. There is a lack of trees in this biome. What biome am I? Grassland
