5. Aims of the workshop Exchange of methodological approaches and tools used in the treatment of learner data.  Presentation of on-going research with a focus on: –learner corpus design, –file processing, –annotation, –interoperability of tools, –learner corpus exploitation (FLT, SLA). Dialogue between the different areas involved (linguistic description, computational linguistics, corpus linguistics, SLA and FLT).  Discussion about the needs that researchers on learner corpora may have and the contributions they can make.
