Follow the directions below to complete this station activity. This task uses: Common Core State Standards Perfectly Pretty Poetry Objective: TSW read three different poems on this app and compare the author’s usage of literary devices and discuss which author is more effective. 1.Click on the Poetry Foundation app on the iPad. 2.Choose three poems and read each poem. 3.Fill out the poetry handout for each poem. Answer all questions on the sheet with evidence from the poems. 4.Identify three usages of literary devices. 5.Compare the author’s usage in each poem. 6.Explain which author’s poem is the most effective.
