Define the intervention methods or materials necessary to support students who are below or above grade-level expectations.

The standards:  Are aligned with college and workforce expectations;  Are clear, understandable and consistent;  Include rigorous content and application of knowledge through high-order skills;  Build upon strengths and lessons of current state standards;  Are informed by standards in other top performing countries, and  Are evidence-based.
