2.  JOAN PLA (1942 Nowadays) He was a valencian writer and novelist. He became, with his first book Mor una vida, es trenca un amor, the most important author of young literature in valencian Since there, he has written more than 30 books and he has earned lots of literature prizes

3.  My favourite Joan Pla’s book is, as I mentioned before, Mor una vida, es trenca un amor. It is my favourite book because it shows you how much a couple of teenagers could love each other and how far they are willing to go for their love.  If I had to describe the book in one sentence, I would say: “I don’t know where the limit is, but I know where is not”

4.  The main characters in the story are Maria and Sergi. Both of them fall in love since they are children. But there is a very big problem which can’t allow Sergi and Maria be together.

5.  This problem is that Sergi comes from a rich family and Maria comes from a poor one. At first sight, this doesn’t seems a very big trouble, because they love each other but the problem begins when Sergi’s parents don’t allow his relation with Maria because they were a very conservative family and going out with a poor girl would be frowned upon.

6.  Sergi couldn’t resist more, so one day that his parents weren’t at home, he decided to visit Maria. When his parents arrived home, and realised that he wasn’t there, his father went to Maria’s house and he became crazy and killed Sergi. Maria, by this time, was pregnant and she had a baby without a father.
