3 Street Rhymes! Come to Washington, D.C.! It’s full of fun and history. The Capitol with its giant dome, The house where the President makes his home, A statue of Lincoln on the mall, And the Washington Monument standing tall.

6 This week we will read about treasures in Washington, D.C., our country’s capitol. We will learn about documents kept in a building in Washinton, D. C.

13 A flag is a symbol of our country because it has fifty stars. This plus sign, +, is a symbol for addition. It tells us to add numbers. Name some symbols you use in math problems. What other symbols do you know? T & T
