1 How To De-Wing A Weedhopper By: Mike Schweim

2 Remove wing ribs, starting from the wingtips;

3 Continuing toward the root.

4 Repeat the process on the other wing.

5 Remove both wing tips.

6 Remove pins from upper end of wing struts. Support wing at compression strut, and lift wing; Remove wing struts from tangs.

7 Lower wing to ground.

8 Repeat on other side.

9 Remove pins from compression struts, and remove struts from brackets

10 Remove pins from compression struts, and remove struts from brackets

11 Remove pins from trailing edge brackets, and lower trailing edges.

12 Position tip of trailing edge tube on top of leading edge tube at tip, and position root end of trailing edge to center wing attach brackets. Remove pins from center wing attach brackets, and fold thrust/drag spar against leading edge.

13 Fold compression strut against wingtip.

14 Bundle wing fabric together, and secure with bungee cords.

15 Remove pin from one of the leading edge brackets.

16 Pick up wing half, move it toward the tail, over the boom tube, and along side the other wing half (fold the wing in half)

17 Slide wing storage bag over wing tips, working it to the root end.

18 When bag is pulled up to the leading edge bracket, remove the pin,

19 Position wing on boom tube, pull the bag over the end of the wing, and tie it closed.

20 The Weedhopper is now ready to load on the trailer for the trip home.
