6 Tonight You Belong To Me Written in 1926 by Billy Rose and Lee David. Popularized by Patience and Prudence in 1956. In The Jerk, the uke part was recorded by Lyle Ritz, a studio jazz bassist during the 60’s and 70’s. In ‘58 and ‘59 he recorded 2 jazz uke albums and then didn’t touch it professionally until The Jerk in 1979. He hasn’t put it down since.
