6 Data: the power of collections Large science data centres, like the Chandra Data archive, are successful because they consist of an organized, managed and preserved collection. Statistics Canada discovered the power of collections through academic library participation in DLI and the RDC Network.

Uses a lifecycle model to identify data problems in Canada.
