5 Communication Development Division 5 IPDC and SIDS Media Development in SIDS – IPDC plays a major role; IPDC has implemented more than 150 media development projects (40 national projects in the Caribbean, 39 in the Pacific, 21 in Other regions covering 32 SIDS) amounting to a total of 3 million US$ dollars. It also implemented 61 regional projects in the Carribbean and the Pacific
