3 5. In the VESSELS is where the good molecules are taken. Once the food molecules are in these BLOOD VESSELS, it is delivered to all parts of the body! 4. In the small intestine nutrients breaks from the burger you just ate to give your body the nutrients it needs 3. In the small intestine energy breaks from the burger you just ate to give your body the energy it needs 2. The Hamburger goes into the stomach of the “BIG BAD FOOD FACTORY” THE DIGESTICE SYSTEM The YUMMY burger you eat

6 *BONE KNOWLEDGE* *What makes up “Bones” the Skeleton ?  The spine  Joints  Ribs  Hands & Feet  Arms Hi ! My name is Bones!

7 BONE KNOWLEDGE Bones are LIGHT WEIGHT, BUT THE STRONGEST material in the HUMAN BODY! WOW! We are born with over 300 BONES! As adults we have 206 BONES!

8 LETS LABEL BONES! THE SPINE: “The Backbone” is the main support for the body JOINTS: Allow us to move & function using many motions! Joints are located between the bones. Examples of this BENDING: Our Knees, Toes, Ankles, and Elbows etc. RIBS: PROTECT the heart and lungs! We have 12 PAIRS! FEET AND HANDS: FLEXIBLE! Each foot has 26 BONES & Each hand has 27 BONES! ARMS: FLEXIBLE Hips: Helps us stand up straight, move, and they support our body weight Legs: HELP US MOVE! Walk! Run!

9 MUSCLE KNOWLEDGE What Does Muscle Man Want us to know!? Muscles are used for more than strength! Muscles: Keep us warm! Keep all our insides packed in tight! They help us move our Body! The Strongest Muscle: The muscle inside our mouths that helps us chew our food!

10 Hi! I’m Muscle Man! LETS TALK MUSCLES! Skeletal Muscles: Help us move and support our skeleton! Connect our muscles! WE CONTROL these muscles! Smooth Muscles: Located in our stomach, bladder, intestines, and blood vessels! WE CANNOT control these muscles Cardiac Muscles: These Make up most of the HEART! THEY NEVER GET TIRED AND NEVER STOP! These muscles squeeze the heart so it pumps (beats) which keeps up ALIVE!
