2. Remember the OLD? Slavery to Fear No trust – some people aren’t worth much No love – some people are to be used No justice – some people don’t deserve a life The old life is about storing up stuff for the rich.

5. How did God beat fear?

6. A loving mother and daughter…

7. …and a harmless little baby.. Moses!

8. Didn’t need no… Armies, tanks, guns, planes

9. Didn’t need lots of… Money

10. Didn’t need… Superstars Celebrities Pop singers Hip hop dancers Pro-athletes People who make lots of $$

11. Instead, God snuck His chosen one right under the enemies’ noses. Moses grew up a prince of Egypt.

12. But before God would use Moses, Moses needed to learn that… Saving God’s people would not be by his own strength. God didn’t need him to beat people up.

13. But before God would use Moses, Moses needed to learn that… It wouldn’t be about how great he was. GOD’S POWER is more awesome than ANYTHING!!!

14. To learn to be humble, it only took Moses… …in the desert.

16. Being humble is… Believing & Obeying God. Being free from being a bully. The meaning of humility in the Bible is one of loving others, not being a wimp! Like Abraham!

17. Why is humility sooooo IMPORTANT?!

19. So you see, the real reason to be humble is…

20. G OD gives GRACE to the HUMBLE.

21. How would the Israelites be saved from slavery to fear?

22. For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God Eph.2:8-10
