8. j Our Mentoring Program: Our mentoring program is designed to motivate and help out children who may need guidance, counseling, or just a place to vent. We have several different types of mentoring methods available. Peer Mentoring Designed to allow students to get through problems by help through their classmates or someone of their same age bracket. This type of mentoring may help students feel more comfortable talking to someone they believe may relate because they are in the same social environment Big Brother/Big Sister: Designed for students who may need someone to look up to. This program allows students to be linked up with someone a little older than them for the purpose of guiding, and simply having someone to be a role model to them. One- on One Counseling: Designed for students who need a little more extra guidance. This is when students have regular mentoring sessions with one of our school counselors because the other two programs weren’t enough for them, or simply because they need more influential professional guidance
