Creating New Templates When significantly modifying an existing template, it is strongly suggested you save the changes to a new name and keep the old template When the new template is “perfect” you can then assign it to the target users. The old template can remain as a reference in case you need to revert to it or to see how it was configured

Template Considerations While multiple VueCentric Templates can be customized to “special” users, keep in mind that more Templates means more maintenance when updates and patches occur Recommended you keep the number of VueCentric templates as low as possible while still meeting the needs of your Users

34. Importing EHR GUI Templates GUI templates can be imported/exported to different sites just like note templates Must have access to vcManager to import/export (and requires the CIAV SITE MANAGER key) Once exported into a file you can easily email the template to other facilities
