10 WHAT SHORTAGE: WHAT DAY IS IT Furloughed: American: 1,900; United: 1,436, FlexJet: 17% of its Pilots January 9, 2012 Dallas news American Airlines on Monday made three big announcements: * It will stop flying its Chicago-Delhi, India, route on March 1. * It will close its Burbank, Calif., station and end Dallas/Fort Worth-Burbank flights. It will lay off 150 workers in the U.S.
