3 Blytheville Public Library’s Mission:  We’re Here to Serve You!  They strive to do just that by providing access to variety of resources such as: Notary services, Internet access, computers, printing services, and a endless selection of books thanks to interlibrary loans.

5 Blytheville Public Library & the Community The library works to meet the needs of the community. The community provides support for the library. Many area businesses and individuals are proud supporters of the library. Many civic, non-profit, and educational organizations utilize the Multi-purpose room within the library. Area schools provide the library with their school year and summer reading lists. The library offers computer assistance and advice as needed.

7 Blytheville Intermediate School’ s Mission=Diversity To educate all learners of high levels of academic performance while fostering positive social and emotional growth to develop leaders for tomorrow. The Intermediate School Library prides itself in meeting the mission statement set forth by the district. They library has a wide selection of quality books at all reading levels. They library also promotes access to many Internet resources through link on the library wiki, including the Traveler Portal. The library also conducts a weekly storytime for students with special needs. The library focuses on embracing the differences of life from race, gender, body types, religion, life styles, etc… The library’s collection is designed to provide equal resources for all including staff and parents. The library covers diversity by meeting the mission statement.

9 Patrons of Blytheville Intermediate School Library The patrons served are mainly fifth and sixth grade students. The school has a total of 18 classes, nine-fifth and nine-sixth. The library is also used by staff and parents within the school district as well as local college students. The library circulates an estimate of 450 books a week. Free flow into the library is allowed so that access is never denied. The library also provides students with up to four free books a year to add to their personal libraries. Meeting the needs of the patrons while encouraging learning is the library’s number one goal.
