2 TERMS Rate of a per b:the relationship of two quantities a and b that are measured in different units Unit rate: a rate per one given unit Ratio of a to b: the relationship of two quantities a and b that are measured in the same unit.

3 EX: FIND THE UNIT RATE 1.In the US in 1996, $913 billion was spent on Medical Care.
