They died because large prey amount of mammals that they depended on like mammoths and ground sloths became extinct. Some of the reasons they believe that this animals became extinct were climate change and disease spread by humans

Deep Ocean Waters, Icelandic and Celtic marine ecosystems, approximately 2,000 whales live off The Coast Of California and migrate to Mexico and Costa Rica. Threats: No specific predators, hunting of Blue Whales, Orcas attacking Blue Whale even though they don’t die immediately they suffer because of the attack and die.
