2 Unit 1 ● Week 2 Vocabulary adventure Sentence: Jake and Sue found a favorite adventure book about exploring a lost kingdom. Example: The journey to the moon was a great adventure. Ask Your Partner: Why do people like to have adventures? Definition: an exciting experience that may be dangerous

3 Unit 1 ● Week 2 Vocabulary auditions Sentence: “We are having auditions for our play,” said Jake. “Come and read for a part.” Example: My sister is going to auditions to try and get the lead acting role in the play.
