6.  Seeing first hand what people need help with.  Being able to make a difference in someone’s life.  It makes me feel like a better person by giving others my time.

At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. 10. The Lowndes County animal shelter is a place where homeless animals are taken to receive care and hopefully find a loving home. Volunteers are welcomed to go out and play with the animals and give them attention.
