English 85 SLOs (final-option A) Upon completion of English 85, students will be able to: 1.respond to intermediate-high-level ESL texts and dictation by composing a unified and coherent paragraph (5-7 sentences) with a clear topic sentence, specific and adequate support, and a conclusion sentence; 2.demonstrate competency in English grammar by composing a unified and coherent paragraph with minimal errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, vocabulary usage, and format.
