1 When you are importing references from databases you are usually searching within a database and then you export from the database to Refworks. If you want to import references from a university catalogue such as UU Library Catalogue, you can and should do your search of the Catalogue within Refworks. You can then select references and import them into your space within Refworks. Exporting references from University catalogues (including British Library and Library of Congress)

2 From the drop down Menu at the Search box Select Online Catalog or Database

3 Sample subject search Searching UU Library Catalogue Click here

4 This is the first page of results Select references and click on import

5 The 4 references have now been imported When you view them you can then put your references into a folder and create a bibliography
