14 Proofreading (Using Microsoft Word) Check for misspelled word – red underline Check for grammar errors – green underline Check word count – Tools/Word Count Print paper then proof read the next day  Mark errors with colored pen  Correct errors on computer  Highlight each error on the paper as you correct it Trade papers with someone in your study group and then proofread each others paper.
