3 The Ulysses Spacecraft Group Talk (26 th Nov 2007) Ulysses sits atop the Payload Assist Module-S (PAM-S) and Inertial Upper Stage (IUS) combination in the Vertical Processing Facility at the Kennedy Space Center. The Ulysses orbit from launch through Jupiter encounter and the first three orbits. Mission Day = 6261Heliolatitde = 75 o North Sun-Spacecraft Distance = 1.82AU
