1. GOD LOVES YOU! It is great to be loved by anyone but it is wonderful to be loved by God.

2. I. A Love We Do Not Deserve James 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. Romans 3:12 There is none who do good, no not one.

3. I. A Love We Do Not Deserve Continued Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray, We have turned every one, to his own way:

4. II.A Love We Desperately Need Ephesians 2:1 ….who were dead in trespasses and sins, Revelation 20:15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

5. III. A Love That Delivers Us John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

A Love That Delivers Us Continued Luke 3:22 And the Holy Spirit descended in bodily form like a dove upon Him, and a voice came from heaven which said “You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.” Luke 9:35 And a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son. Hear Him!”

11. VI. A Deliberate Love Matthew 16:24 “If anyone would come after Me he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow Me.” John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believed in His name

12. VI. A Deliberate Love continued John 6: 37 “ All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the ones who come to Me I will by no means cast out.” Romans 10:13 “Whoever calls on the Lord shall be saved.”
