You must receive an email from THEBP saying that we have received your CRB form and confirming you can start mentoring before you start individual sessions.

How do you get a shy student to talk? How do you manage who is talking within a group of students? How will you handle mistakes/correcting?

Ask what they want to focus on in last session. Tell them what you have learnt from them and how you have benefitted. Acceptable to give good luck card and keep in touch. Reading (20%) and listening (20%) exams at end of the first GCSE year, then writing (30%) and oral (30%) exams in final GCSE year. For some exam boards, topics are split between these competencies. Main focus of oral exams are general conversation questions, role plays, and short presentations aided by a resource.
