Working with Roma Cooperation with the institution « Slovo 21 » that organises educational and cultural projects concerning Roma and projects leading to integration of Roma into society The main goal is to fight against racism, protect human rights, build toleration and respect towards minorities, support education and integrate minorities into society

6. Working with Roma SUPPORT OF ROMA IN PRAGUE IN ENTERING THE LABOUR MARKET under Equal Initiative budget: 1 077 920 EUR main goal: to support Roma of all age categories in gaining qualification and education and help them to enter the labour market and find a job easily http://www.equal.romea.cz

7. Working with Roma Project activities: 1)International seminars and workshops 2) Special courses: - help to Roma students with elementary and secondary education to support them in continuing their studies - educational and requalification courses for Roma women - PC and Internet courses

Working with Roma Project activities - cooperation with job centers, education of employees of small NGOs dealing with Roma activities - many other courses improving skills Project partners: Civic society Romea, Prague municipality, civic society R-Mosty, Município de Coimbra (Portugal), Regional development Agency Mura (Slovenia)

9. Working with Roma Cooperation with the organisation « House of national minorities » that helps minorities to integrate into society There are special projects for students about raising awareness of Roma and their culture. This is done through differents events such as concerts, film projections or discussions.

10. Working with Roma Difficulties: -lack of public interest in Roma issues and in organised cultural events -Remaining problems with racism and xenophobia (public, employers) - lack of discipline during educational and requalification programs (high number of Roma doesn´t finish a program they were attending)
