During a typical weekday 50,000 people worked in the towers and an additional 200,000 people would visit there.The Twin Towers were the tallest buildings in the world from They stood over 1,350 feet tall.The buildings were so busy that they even had their own Zip code.
7 Why the Pentagon? It is located in Washington, D.C. It is the home of the Department of Defense for the United States.It employs over 23,000 military and civilians personnel.It is the heart of our nation’s defense team.
8 Flight 93 This plane was headed to California. Hijackers planned to use it for the U.S. Capitol Building attack.It contained 40 crew members and passengers that bravely risk their lives to help America.A memorial was built in honor of flight 93 where it crashed in Stoystown, PA
