9 Impaction & Eligibility Index  All CSU’s use the Eligibility index to determine who get accepted  Of the 23 CSU Campuses, 15 are impacted and require higher Eligibility Index scores (2900 is the minimum)  This higher score may be campus wide or based on major  Bakersfield, East Bay, Channel Islands, Dominguez Hills, Cal Maritime, and Stanislaus are NOT impacted.

11 Financial assistance earned by a student May be on or off campus Work Study Financial Aid that does not have to be repaid Pell Grant, Cal Grant, University Grant Grants Awarded based on specific criteria such as need, merit, ethnicity, community, service, talent or special circumstance Scholarships Money loaned to students. Repayment begins after student has left college Perkins - $3000 max/yr, Stafford - $5500 – 7500 /yr Loans Paying for College
