Algebraic Expressions Unit 1-1

Key Words:  Algebraic Expression: An expression that contains at least one variable. Ex. 2x 3x 2 + 3y – 5  Like Terms: Terms with the same variables raised to the same exponents. Ex. 4x 2 and 3x 2 Are 3xy and 4x? Ex. 4x 2 and 3x 2 Are 3xy and 4x?
