4 A Tradition of Excellence An FHS graduate was a Rhodes Scholar in Physics. An FHS graduate is the author of All the Last Girls. An FHS graduate is the ambassador to the U.S. from Thailand Numerous FHS graduates are doctors, lawyers, and college professors.

5 Challenge Yourself! All diploma options list minimums!  You should take the highest level course in any subject area that you can handle. EX: If you are good in math, take upper level courses, even if your diploma does not require it. WHY? 1) You will be taking the ACT – upper level courses help you prepare for this test 2) You will be better prepared for college courses.

12 G rade P oint A verage Colleges do look at your GPA when you apply, BUT they also want to see rigor. Colleges are telling us that a C in a Pre AP or AP courses is the same as an A in a regular class. They want to see that you are CHALLENGING yourself!!!
