3 Our Aim Carers are welcome 24/7 at Imperial College Healthcare Trust, London – this photo shows a ward sister, two specialist dementia nurses, Julia Jones, Nicci Gerrard and the director of nursing.

4 Our Partners We have had generous and explicit support from many organisations as well as individuals. These include the Alzheimer’s Society, Dementia UK, Parkinson’s UK, Carers UK, British Geriatrics Society, the Royal College of Nursing, Jane Cummings (CNO England), Patient Experience England, the Gold Standards Framework, Kate Granger (#hello my name is), Patient Opinion & many others (including David Cameron, Andy Burnham, Norman Lamb, Alistair Burns, Valerie Vaz) Dementia lead nurse and colleague from elderly assessment team at Broomfield hospital talking with president of local Women’s Institute about John’s Campaign and other ways of working together to improve the quality of care for people with dementia in hospital. 5 Next Steps The Observer newspaper: Was at the forefront of the campaign for parents to remain with their children in hospital Is establishing a website which will offer every NHS Hospital Trust the chance to say publicly how they welcome carers. There will be opportunity for direct feedback via Patient Opinion as well as reader comment on the site We aim to highlight good practice at 3-4 Trusts every week until Nov 2016 - the second anniversary of our campaign.
