4. Thought we should do something about this,

5. We thought about cleaning our planet,

6. AND helping the less fortunate

7. Where our shoes end up, where they could end up

8. So we decided to have a shoe drive!

9. For two weeks we asked our community to help with our cause and donate used or new shoes.

10. The shoes we collected would go to Sole Responsibility, an organization that delivers shoes to developing countries This year they will be going to Cameroon, Africa

11. At the end of our two weeks we collected 172 pairs of shoes.

12. That’s 172 pairs of shoes kept out of a landfill And 172 pairs of feet kept safe.

13. But we weren’t done, we continued on the Green Team Tradition, and planted 1000 trees.
