2 Voting Items From RMS meeting on 12/10/2008  RMGRR069: Texas SET Retail Market Guide Clean-up – Section 7: Historical Usage and Estimated Meter Readings; Section 9: Transaction Timing Matrix and Letter of Authorization  This Retail Market Guide Revision Request (RMGRR) updates the language in the Retail Market Guide to provide clarification of current processes and also to include changes that resulted from implementation of TX SET 3.0.  RMGRR070: Ad Hoc Retail Market Conference Calls  This Retail Market Guide Revision Request (RMGRR) outlines the process for Market Participants to request an ad hoc retail market conference call to address issues as they arise.  RMGRR071: Process Change for Review of Impact Analysis on Point to Point Transactions or Processes Between CRs and TDSPs That Have No Impact to ERCOT  This Retail Market Guide Revision Request (RMGRR) allows for a preliminary Impact Analysis of RMGRRs that are limited to Point to Point transactions or processes between Competitive Retailers (CRs) and Transmission Distribution Service Providers (TDSPs) that have no impact to ERCOT to be reviewed and approved by the Retail Market Subcommittee (RMS) at the RMS meeting at which the RMGRR is first considered.  SCR745: Retail Market Outage Evaluation and Resolution

3 Accomplishments Market Metrics  Designed and consolidated individual Performance Metrics templates for CR’s, TDSP’s and ERCOT reporting to support Project 33049  Developed standardized Performance measures templates for all TDSP’s  Monitored Performance Metrics for 1st and 2nd quarters, and new metrics formats for 3rd quarter of 2008  Reviewed MarkeTrak metrics and made recommendations to MarkeTrak Taskforce  Reviewed IAG Metrics and recommended additional metrics that are currently being reported  Completed the Terms and Conditions Metrics Reporting Project in the 2nd quarter of 2008 and have recommended to the RMS that the MMWG be sunset and responsibilities for metrics review be assumed by the TDTWG MarkeTrak Task Force  Implemented phased approach to MarkeTrak system upgrade  Revised the MarkeTrak User GuideTTPT  Conducted 3 test flights for 2008

4 Accomplishments TEXAS SET  Analyzed new PUCT Rules and 17 “Issues“ submitted to TX SET by various stakeholders  Assessed impacts to retail transactions and business processes  Submitted 9 Retail Market Guide Revision Requests  Submitted 1 PRR (PRR 782 – Pending)  Revised the Solution to Stacking Document  Approved 9 TX SET Change Controls for Future Release  Acquisition Task Force:  Provided both a Short Term and Long Term Recommended Solution to RMS for processes to expeditiously transfer large numbers of customers from one REP to another, as required by PUCT Subst. R. §25.493.  Advanced Metering Implementation Team (PUCT Project 34610)  Provided an assessment to AMIT of the business requirements for the Retail Market Interface Project  No Scheduled TEXAS SET Version Release for 2008

7 Goals TTPT  Design Flight Plan for 2010  Develop and modify scripts for the approved Flights as required  Support Testing for Advanced Metering initiatives  Support Testing for Nodal initiatives, if needed  Continue to enhance Retail Testing Website to support market testing  Maintain content within TMTP, TTPT Procedures and Protocol updates MARS TF  Develop Test Plan along with Test Scripts/Scenarios  Implement and successfully complete test plan  Develop the appropriate Data needed for extract reporting  Develop Retail Market Guide Revision section that details process for AMS “Provisioned” meters, FTP and ERCOT Enhanced LSE file.  Submit proposed RMGRR changes to RMS for Approval  Continue to complete and resolve open action items by providing timely feedbackTDTWG  Continue to work with Market Participants, their agents, ERCOT, the PUCT as well as other interested parties in an effort to improve and protect data delivery processes for the Texas Market.  Work to absorb the quarterly metrics reporting review that the Market Metrics Working Group performed

8 Goals TEXAS SET  Analyze Issues as they are presented to TX SET to determine if there is a Market need for another TX SET Release based on Market issues and/or approved PUCT Rule requirements  Evaluate upcoming Rulemakings and determine their Transactional and Market impacts to current processes  Improve usability of TX SET EDI Examples by removing them from the Implementation Guides  Continue to Update Protocols and Retail Market Guide when and where necessary  Continue to maintain and update the Stacking documentation  Continue to be involved with all market participants and market meetings to provide assistance and TX SET expertise where needed  Always encourage all market participants to attend and participate in TX SET meetings and workshops Both Market Metrics, MarkeTrak Task Force will sunset
