I Boast No More No more, my God, I boast no more Of all the duties I have done; I quit the hopes I held before, To trust the merits of Thy Son

No more my God, I boast no more.

Now, for the loss I bear His name, What was my gain I count my loss; My former pride I call my shame, And nail my glory to His cross.

No more my God, I boast no more.

Yes and I must and will esteem, All things but loss for Jesus’ sake; O may my soul be found in Him, And of his right-eousness partake. Amen.

The best obedience of my hands Dares not appear before Thy throne; But faith can answer Thy demands, By pleading what my Lord has done.

No more our God, We boast no more.

Before the throne of God above, I have a strong, a perfect plea, A great High Priest whose name is "Love," Who ever lives and pleads for me. Before the Throne

My name is graven on His hands, My name is written on His heart; I know that while in heav'n He stands no tongue can bid me thence depart. No tongue can bid me thence depart.

When Satan tempts me to despair, and tells me of the guilt within, upward I look and see Him there who made an end to all my sin.

Because the sinless Savior died, my sinful soul is counted free; For God, the Just, is satisfied to look on him and pardon me. To look on him and pardon me.

Halleluiah! Praise the one, risen Son of God

Behold him there! the risen Lamb, my perfect, spotless Righteousness, the great unchangeable I Am, the King of glory and of grace!

One with Himself I cannot die, My soul is purchased by His blood; My life is hid with Christ on high, with Christ, my Savior and my God With Christ, my Savior and my God.

Halleluiah! Praise the one, risen Son of God…

What wondrous love is this, O my soul, O my soul! What wondrous love is this, O my soul! What wondrous love is this that caused the Lord of bliss To bear the dreadful curse for my soul, for my soul, To bear the dreadful curse for my soul.

When I was sinking down, sinking down, When I was sinking down, sinking down, When I was sinking down beneath God’s righteous frown, Christ laid aside His crown for my soul, for my soul, Christ laid aside His crown for my soul.

To God and to the Lamb, I will sing, I will sing; To God and to the Lamb I will sing. To God and to the Lamb Who is the great “I Am”; While millions join the theme, I will sing, I will sing; While millions join the theme, I will sing.

And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on; And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing on. And when from death I’m free, I’ll sing and joyful be, And through eternity I’ll sing on, I’ll sing on, And through eternity I’ll sing on.
