Goals 1.Develop a cadre of clinical faculty who are exemplary models of effective teaching and strong mentors for student teachers (teacher candidates). 2.Develop and nurture leadership abilities and exemplary practice in clinical faculty. 3.Facilitate greater cooperation and communication among consortium members. 4.Create a professional learning community that fosters learning to teach, and the development of school cultures that promote life- long learning for all members of the communities. 5.Support school/university collaboration that involves clinical faculty and preservice teachers in efforts that impact student learning and well-being.
