The Life Of Ansel Ansel was born on February 20, 1902 and passed away April 22, 1984. He was born in San Francisco California. Ansel was a very smart guy he attend Harvard University also Yale. He was born with upper class parents he learned how to play the piano at the age of 12 and music has been a big part since.
The Life of Ansel His work appears in museums. He is famous for his black and white photos in the 1900s. He was in a earthquake in 1906 in San Francisco. The aftershock threw him and he broke his nose on a garden wall.
Important Facts about Ansel Adams. At 17, Ansel Adams first job with the Sierra Club was as a custodian of the LeConte Memorial Lodge in Yosemite National Park. Ansel lived to please people. Ansel would be 113 years old if he was alive.
Snake River Taken : 1942 Grand Teton National Park. The lighting in this picture is natural. The lighting is coming form behind the clouds towards the top of the mountains. I really like the lighting in this picture. The main subject in this picture is to see how cool and interesting the snake river is. The composition is a big part in this photo the black and white filter buts the picture together. I choose this picture because it caught my eye when going through Ansel pictures. The photographer is trying to communicate with us by showing the outdoors.
McDonald Lake. Where: Glacier National Park, Montana. There isn't much lighting in this picture other than on the water. The main subject in this picture is to express how great the national park is. The composition on this is rule of thirds leading lines. The leading lines make you think what are beyond the mountains. I choose this picture because I really like it also it was one of his famous pictures.

The main subject in this picture is the one “mountain looking out and see all of the other mountains. This picture has rule of thirds and leading lines I can tell by the “mountain pointing in one direction. I choose this picture because it stands outs.
Church, Taos Pueblo. Where: National Historic Landmark, New Mexico. There is natural lighting it is coming from the “door”. I like the lighting in this picture because it really sets the tone to it. The main subject in this picture is there is hope everywhere. I can tell because there is a cross on the top of the “door”. The composition on this picture are rule of thirds also leading lines. I choose this picture because I thought it was interesting.
"Old Faithful" Where: Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. I choose this picture because I really like action pictures. The composition of this picture is rule of thirds and the texture is very slim. The lighting in this picture is alright but could be better. The lighting is coming behind Old Faithful. The main subject in this picture is that there are a lot of cool things at nature.
